The National Park Service offers several free days or weekends throughout the year, normally connected to a federal holiday, where you can visit Rocky Mountain National Park for free! The summer months tend to be busier anyway, so your best bet is the early spring or winter fee-free days. Spend the day at Stanley Park
Stanley Park recently opened its bike park. Bikers will enjoy skilled loops, ranging from beginner to advanced. There are dirt and paved sections, plus a single-track dirt trail that runs 1.25 miles, connecting the different courses. Beyond the bike park, visitors will also enjoy a playground, baseball and soccer fields, plus tennis courts. The park is free to the public.
